MENASHA STARTS THE NEW YEAR WITH A BANG!

For the 18th year Menasha will be celebrating the New Year in grand style, complete with a ball drop and fireworks at midnight.  The event in historic Curtis Reed Square downtown Menasha  is a family friendly local version of Dick Clark's classic New York celebration complete with appearances by Menasha Mayor Don Merkes, Miss Wisconsin USA 2005 Melissa Ann Young,  Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2005 Anisa Phillips,  Miss Wisconsin USA 2008 First Runnerup Heidi Golznig, Miss Wisconsin and National Jr. Teen Cover Girl 2011-2012 Carrie Hendricks.  James Taylor is your MC for the evening and will be playing all your musical favorites along with some great local flavor. 

The evening ends (or might just be beginning depending on your viewpoint) with a spectacular fireworks display over the frozen Fox River.  Join us right here in Menasha to look back on 2011 and forward to a bright future in 2012.
